Hottest Galaxy Note8 rumor: Emperor Edition with 258GB storage. Samsung is due to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 next month and while it hasn’t confirmed anything about the handset yet, a reliable leakster @ice reports something juicy. He says that Samsung has decided to give the Galaxy Note8 this hot treasure of an “Emperor Edition” that will launch in China and South Korea with a domineering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 storage. The base version will be 6GB/64GB. Samsung is rumored to launch the Emperor Edition alongside the standard edition. The only major difference is believed to be the internal storage at this point in time. It’s unlikely that the company is going to sell this variant outside Asian markets though.
It’s possible that Samsung might offer another version in markets like North America, Europe, and South America. This model will be with 128GB storage instead. This beauty will have the extravagant price tag of over 1,100 $. What is interesting is that The Galaxy S8+ already had a similar version with extra memory in Asia. Unfortunately, this model didn’t make it to Europe, but is still available in Hong Kong and India.
The Galaxy Note8 Emperor Edition design will come in Black, Blue and Grey, perhaps even in Deep Blue too. And something for a happy article ending – the microSD slot doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, giving you a chance of up to 384GB/512GB storage.
None of this is set in stone just yet so take this salty new info lightly. Samsung is going to officially unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23rd.
